World Fondue Championship 2023
Damien Raemy and Sibylle Groux triumphed at the 4th edition of the World Fondue Championship.

Fondue enthusiasts from around the world gathered in Tartegnin (VD) for two days of competition. Each participant had the opportunity to present his or her own fondue creation, made with a minimum of 50% Le Gruyère AOP.
Damien Raemy, master cheesemaker in Corbière, was the overall winner in 2023. He convinced the jury of Swiss and international personalities with a "traditional" fondue made with a blend of Le Gruyère AOP and Vacherin Fribourgeois.
In the amateur category, Sibylle Groux from Vaud won the title. A creative young engineer, she skilfully blended Le Gruyère AOP with other ingredients to create a remarkable taste experience.
As a partner of the event, Le Gruyère AOP is delighted with the enthusiasm generated by this traditional dish, and salutes the creativity demonstrated by the participants in this competition.
