Le Gruyère AOP on The Voice: A Swiss Touch on the French Stage
On 14 February 2025, the TV show The Voice, broadcast by French channel TF1, added a bit of Swiss flair with a performance by the Fribourg traditional music group, Les Ténors de la Fevigne.

Dressed in their 2019 Fête des Vignerons bredzon - the traditional Fribourg costume - and leaning on their finely sculpted canes, the five singers delivered a surprising and captivating rendition of Angèle’s Balance ton quoi. Their performance, rich with authenticity and pride, charmed the audience, who responded with enthusiastic cheers.
To top off this Swiss incursion onto The Voice stage, the singers had a delightful surprise: they pulled out pieces of Le Gruyère AOP from their loyis (traditional shoulder bags) and generously handed them out to the jurors and the audience. It was a delicious and unexpected gesture that delighted the audience and made this unique moment even more special.
A big round of applause for the Ténors de la Fevigne for their magnificent performance and for proudly sharing a speciality that truly represents their region!
