  • 350 g
    puff pastry dough
  • 60 g
    tomato paste
  • 40 g
    Le Gruyère AOP Réserve
  • 20 g
    Sambal Oelek (hot sauce)

Preparation

Le Gruyère AOP savoury biscuits for drinks

  1. Spread the tomato purée and Sambal Oelek over the puff pastry sheet.
  2. Grate the Gruyère AOP Réserve over the purée/paste mixture.
  3. Then either roll into heart shapes or cut with a heart-shaped cutter, and bake at 180°C for 15-20 minutes. Eat while still warm.

Delicious to know

The puff pastry should always be kept cold, so do not leave it at room temperature for long. Puff pastry is much easier to shape when it is cold, because if it gets too warm it loses its shape and becomes sticky due to the amount of butter in it.
