The Cross-Country Skiing World Cup with Le Gruyère AOP

Le Gruyère AOP, a partner of the Cross Country Skiing World Cup, recently teamed up with the French cheese brand Comté during the World Cup competition in Les Rousses. Without compromising the contractual sponsorship clauses with the FIS, this collaboration was an obvious choice for Le Gruyère AOP. Indeed, the two interprofessions share the same values of commitment to tradition, quality and excellence. Therefore, they joined forces to provide a sportive and tasting experience for the athletes as well as for the thousands of spectators coming from here and abroad.

During the three days of competition, fans could find Le Gruyère AOP on the slopes with a visual presence of the brand as well as in the World Cup village with a stand next to Comté where activities in the form of games, tasting, and the famous hot fondues with an exclusive blend of Gruyère AOP - Comté were organised.

This combination aroused the public's curiosity and interest in quality and traditional cheeses. It also allowed the two interprofessions to come closer together, forge stronger links and reinforce their brand images.
