From 30 March to 7 April, the world's best men's curling teams competed in Schaffhausen for a week.

Of the twelve national teams competing, the Swedish Curling Federation came out on top in the 12 qualifying rounds, winning 9 of them. The Swedes then went on to win the semi-final against Italy and the final against Canada. Canada finished second. Italy, winners of the semi-final against Scotland, completed the podium. In seventh place at these 2024 World Championships was the Swiss national team, which, with 6 wins and 6 losses, failed to make it past the qualifying round.

As a partner of the International Curling Federation and sponsor of the event, Le Gruyère AOP Switzerland was at the heart of these World Championships, which provided excellent visibility for the brand on the various curling sheets, complemented by the product being offered to players and the public in tasting sessions.

Le Gruyère AOP congratulates the various teams competing in Schaffhausen and the organising committee for these nine magnificent days of World Championships on Swiss soil.
